To: Bryan F, Loan Operations Account Manager
Dear Bryan F.,
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would own a home by myself! Recently, I endured the incredibly stressful, but yet rewarding process of purchasing a home in Bridgeport, CT. You might be questioning what does that have to do with my account with NextStudent? Brayn, I can assure you that the closing on my home would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the help of many of your staff, in particular Debra C. It is with sincere pleasure that I write to you about my experience of working with Debra.
In late May/early June 2005, I had begun to look for a home of my own. Being single and living in Fairfield County, CT, I can assure you, it was difficult. At the same time I was in the process of cleaning up my credit report, and it was brought to my attention that I should consolidate my student loans from my bachelor’s degree and my second master’s degree, which, I need to add, I was finishing in July of 2005. From the initial conversation I had with Debra and your staff, I knew I was in good hands. The information that was being shared was handled with care, confidence and a professional manner. Debra would regularly send me e-mails and make phone calls about the status of my application as well as the stage at which my loans were being consolidated.
Specifically, Debra went above and beyond when it looked like my closing was in jeopardy. My lending bank was giving me a difficult time in getting to closing because I was graduating from a university from which I had outstanding loans and couldn’t get to consolidation in a timely fashion due to the fact that I was graduating in July 2005. Debra worked with me, at one point daily, to provide to me and the lending bank the necessary official paperwork needed to get to closing. Not only did Debra handle this process with expediency, she handled it with compassion, understanding and support. Debra faxed, re-faxed, called and e-mailed the bank on my behalf several times.
It is now January 2006 and I have been living in my own home for six months. Debra and I have e-mailed several times to stay in touch. My student loans were successfully consolidated in a timely fashion, and I can only tell you that it was Debra C. who made it happen! When I am enjoying a quiet moment, lounging on my couch and looking out my window, I think about all that I have to be grateful for that helped me get to this place. I can assure you Debra comes across my mind often
On a final note, not only does Debra have an admirable professional manner, she is bright funny and caring. She has a way about her that makes one feel they are in great hands! I am truly grateful for having Debra as my contact person at NextStudent.
Sincerely,
Amy B
