The Education Finance Consultant is responsible for contacting borrowers that have requested information from NextStudent. The consultant will talk to borrowers about important information pertaining to all aspects of the funding needed for higher education. Consultants walk borrowers through the education funding ladder to ensure all aspects of funding are met. The Education Finance Consultant educates the borrower on the advantages of consolidating their current student loans and makes sure that the borrower is getting the best customer service in the industry. Responsible for taking inbound calls, making outbound calls, following up with customers, and setting appointments with borrowers to follow up with the loan process.
Job Description:
- Contacting borrowers who have requested student loan information.
- Handle incoming call volume.
- Assist in Student Loan and Consolidation application process.
- Follow up with borrower regarding loan application.
- Cross-selling student loan products.
Qualifications:
- Strong sales background with a proven track record.
- Great customer service skills.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to Multi-task a must.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
