NextStudent offers private loans for graduates enrolled at least half time in a degree or certificate program at a TERI-approved school.

  • Generous borrowing limits—up to $40,000 annually less other financial aid up to cost of attendance
  • Principal and interest payments deferred until after graduation or ceasing to be enrolled full time
  • Telephone application with preliminary approval in as little as 15 minutes
  • No application fee
  • You may qualify with or without a co-signer
  • No application deadlines—apply any time
  • Funds sent directly to the borrower
  • Interest payments may be tax deductible (see your tax advisor)


    *Undergraduate and graduate borrowers may borrow annually up to the lesser of the cost of attendance or $30,000 ($40,000 for certain schools where it has been determined that the annual cost of attendance exceeds $30,000).  Borrowers in Continuing Education and K-12 loan programs may borrow annually up to $30,000.
