By requesting a preapproval for a Federal PLUS Loan, I (the parent) authorize NextStudent to obtain a credit bureau report for the purpose of making a preliminary determination of whether I meet the federal credit eligibility requirements for a PLUS loan. I understand that this preapproval request is not an actual PLUS loan application and that, in order to obtain a PLUS loan, I must submit a completed PLUS loan application. I understand that any preapproval I receive based upon NextStudent’s review of my credit report will be conditional and subject to verification of such financial information as the lender requires, as well as subject to verification of my eligibility to borrow under the PLUS Loan Program. I also authorize NextStudent to release the results of this preliminary credit determination to the school indicated on the request.
