Joel Garcia Memorial Scholarship (b)
Annual awards for Latino California residents who are undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, commitment to the journalism field, awareness of issues of concern to the Latino community, and be pursuing a career in Journalism. An essay and samples of journalism-related work must be included with the application packet.
