Annual awards for graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate or graduate students whose family member is a current/retired employee of Kalamazoo County who worked/is working in the law enforcement, fire fighting, public safety or emergency personnel departments. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need. Family members can be: a child, stepchild, grandchild, stepgrandchild, or spouse. Applicant must file the FAFSA. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
