Fire Service Scholarship
EMPLOYEE RELATED annual awards for children and stepchildren of active, retired or deceased Minnesota firefighters through the age of 23 years old. The spouse of a deceased firefighter is eligible for a period of up to five years following the firefighter's death. Selection is made by a lottery drawing with no consideration of need. One award is given to the child of a deceased firefighter first; then additional awards will be made to remaining applicants.
