Student Loan Consolidation Waivers

Students who have not yet graduated must complete, sign and fax an In School Consolidation Waiver to NextStudent no later than June 30th to ensure their student loan consolidation is processed before interest rates increase. If you are still in school, we cannot guarantee you will lock in the current interest rate without receiving waivers.

If your loans are serviced by any of the lenders below, please print the waiver associated with that lender, fill it out, sign, and fax it to:

  • (623) 879-5066
  • (623) 879-5067
  • (800) 915-2399
  • (623) 879-5092

If your loans are held by any other lenders, please fill out the NextStudent waiver. If you need help determining which waiver(s) you need, please call customer service at (888) 595-9589 and we'll be happy to assist you.

If the fax number is busy you can scan and email waivers to customerservice@nextstudent.com

Remember, this waiver MUST BE RECIEVED BY NEXTSTUDENT NO LATER THAN JUNE 29th to insure you can lock in this year's interest rates.

* Please be aware that while we continue to offer Private Student Loans and Private Consolidation Loans, NextStudent is not currently able to accept any new PLUS, Grad PLUS, Stafford, or Federal Consolidation Loan applications.

On October 1, 2007, legislation went into effect that cut $21 billion in subsidies to FFELP lenders like NextStudent. We have been searching, and continue to search, for avenues that would allow us to keep offering FFELP loans. But at this point, until market and regulatory conditions change, we find ourselves forced to suspend our federal education loan programs.

We value your business, and we want to make sure you’re able to get the money you need to pay for school. We encourage you to take advantage of college scholarships and your available federal financing options. But if you’re still in need of a parent or student loan, please give us a call, and we’ll do what we can to help.
