Loan Amounts*
Please be aware that due to current conditions in the student loan market in particular and in the financial sector in general, NextStudent is not currently able to accept any new PLUS, Grad PLUS, Stafford, or Federal Consolidation Loan applications. However, you may be able to apply for these federal student loans from one of our trusted partners. Click here for more information.
The amount you consolidate depends on your outstanding eligible student loan debt.
The amount you consolidate may affect your interest rate and your interest period. For instance, a $10,000 consolidation loan must be repaid within 15 years, but a $60,000 consolidation loan may be repaid over a period of 30 years.
How much can consolidation help you? Use our consolidation loan calculator to find out. Or, see our before and after examples to see how powerful consolidation can be.
"It was a pleasure working with NextStudent to consolidate my loans. If I had known that it would be such a pleasant experience, I wouldn't have procrastinated so long!!"
