NextStudent’s Guarantee of Borrower Benefits

To all our valued NextStudent borrowers:

As part of NextStudent’s ongoing commitment to quality customer service, we want to provide you with some assurances about your student loan and your NextStudent borrower benefits.

When you first took out your student loan with us, we may have offered you certain borrower benefits and/or interest-rate discounts. And although your NextStudent loan may have since been transferred or sold to a different lender or servicer, we want to reassure you that any borrower benefits or rate discounts you were eligible for won’t change.

If your NextStudent loan is transferred or sold, a new lender or servicer may not revoke any of your rate discounts that NextStudent offered you on your NextStudent loan, as long as you’re still eligible for those discounts according to the terms offered to you by NextStudent.

We specifically work with our servicer partners to ensure that they’ll provide our customers with a commitment to the benefits we offer you.

If, at any time, you believe your servicer isn’t honoring the terms of the borrower benefits and discounts to which you believe you’re entitled on your NextStudent loan, please let us know! You can reach our Customer Resolution team at (866) 230-5577.

We’ll contact your servicer right away to try to find the problem and work out a solution. We’ll either find a way to re-institute your benefits or refund you any money you were overcharged due to a non-discounted interest rate to which you were entitled.

We want to ensure that your experience with NextStudent continues to be a positive one, and we’re committed to doing what we can to make that happen.
