This was a great list, but I have a space and time saver. Instead of an ironing board and iron, might I suggest a hand held steamer and Downy wrinkle releaser? They're great storage savers, and are fast. Also, for bulky clothes items like sweaters and winter coats, Ziploc big bags are grea, and fit under the bed without taking up a lot of storage room.

Might I also suggest some kind of caddy to put toiletries in? Dollar stores have lot of those this time of year.

This is a wonderful list, but don't forget posters, rugs, and photos! You get to school without them and while you are prepared to live, withing 3 to 7 days you will be depressed because while it is you stuff, it isn't your room. Bring things to personalize your space that don't take up space. Your rug brightens the room but you can walk on it and Posters are great. Remember to check your schools policy on wall hangings. Most don't like nails - you can get post-it tabs that are made for the wall and don't hurt the wall or your stuff. Some schools are picky about the viewing content on the wall and don't forget that you don't want to tick your roommate off either!

This list will be very helpful when it comes time for me to start packing. I was starting to stress out a little about forgetting some things, but this list is very thorough.
