Thanks for these great resources! I am always on the look out for new and interesting ways to travel and i have to say some of these links certainly got my attention. Who would have thought that you could actually live and work in a organic farm as a means of vacation? I certainly did not! Will certainly keep this site in mind in the future.

I had heard of the organic farming site, but the others are new to me. Good resources. It's a little tricky these days because it seems so dangerous out there.

This looks like a brilliant idea for anyone traveling on a budget..

Maybe I should look up how many beds are available on the island I live on called Isla Mujeres in Mexico.. This place is packed with backpacers the entire year!

I've used some of these - even interviewed some couchsurfing users on Indie Travel Podcast. It's a good list.

My question is when did "accommodation" become a countable noun? It's uncountable in every dictionary I've even seen. And that means you never use it with an "s" on the end.
